hi i was wondering how i get a email notification on a post i have wrote or replied too

PS: i have got the box ticked at the bottom of the page but i am not receiving any emails

As for receiving emails you should automatically receive an email to any threads you have posted in. But have a look into your user control panel at the top of the page.

the other forums i`m a member of you just add file to your post
i will have to try an avatar

Your avater you can upload locally if it's the right file size and dimensions. The problem with other images though is the amount of web space that would be required for the forum to host them.
