Side stand

Post by carmanbikes »

Hi All, Just wondering is there anything that can be done to make the side stand better as it looks like the bike is going to fall over when its on or has anyone swapped from a different model.

Same style & straight fit is the Blackbird stand but need a longer prong fitted as it comes real stumpy. As it's longer it make the bike stand more upright.
Useful if you have a shock slip plate in.

Here's one I modded earlier.

Apparently there is a CBR one that fits, more of a tube type, but I couldn't find one that had the switch mounting in the right place.

Bananaman tells me he fitted a Triumph one but I cant remember which model...

I have a Blackbird stand to go on mine when I can figure out a better heel tang :D
It may only be my opinion but it's mine!

Having had Mac's BB one fitted, cheers again fella, after I, er, well, er bent the fecker, I must say it's bloody grand.
Does sit up far better, but takes some getting used to, as i'm now paranoid about it tipping the other way.
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

+1 on the Mac stand. My heel never slips off in the wet now.
