cct replacement troubles (URGENT as i have the bike in bits)

Post by Mister Stu »

I had the front cct let go so have replaced it and know the rear cylinder is not fireing? Done the tdc on the rear cylinder then wound it anti clockwise 450deg to the FT and set the cams up on that, put the bike back together and its only running on the front? :? So took it all to bits again to check and all seems right so what could be wrong? It was running perfect before the cct went  cheers

May be the vacuum pipe on the fuel tap is on the wrong outlet, it should be on the 90* outlet, not on the one pointing to the ground, that's only applicable to the earlier 16ltr fuel tank models,

Ha ha I wouldn't say that. Glad it was nothing more. As the others have said, you're not the first, and highly unlikely you'll be the last to do that,
