I found this rummaging through a parts bin looking for something suitable to hold my oil pressure gauge in place.
I reckon I know what it is and if I'm right it could explain a couple of things.
I will check tomorrow night!
In the mean time can you guess where it goes?
A clue is that it has something to do with when I did my braced swinger!

I just see the dupe thread. The funny thing is I was thinking that before I changed my mind and went with spacer. That will teach me for not going with my instincts.
