B29 Frozen in Time
If you like aeroplanes you might like this. Its is running on sky PBS at the moment but can also be found on youtube.
Basically a bunch of chaps decided to go and recover a crash landed B29, that ditched after WW2 in a remote location. ... They intend to fly it back of course!!!!

Good programme, sad to see all that hard work just go up in flames. Very sad, as well as for the poor guy who died.

I was nearly in tears never mind the chaps who put in the graft. Some very dedicated and talented people. And i can help thinking that they had some huge gonads to then want to fly the thing out of there
Re: B29 Frozen in Time
if they flew that out their it would have been a fitting tribute to the engineer they lost but just goes to show what could lie else were in the worldStuartWags wrote:I was nearly in tears never mind the chaps who put in the graft.
