Firestorm

Post by popkat »

Wanted Firestorm,
applications invited from Red, Sliver, Orange, f2 blue, what the hell i'll even consider a yellow one  and maybe even a black, but please leave teals and early blues in the garage :P

Important * P Registrations need not apply, don't ask.... Sorry Mac.

Ok I'm looking for a storm, I want something with less than 25000 miles, UK model no imports, must be in very good condition,
ideally (but not essential) will have a few mods, most desired are manual cct's, fork springs, nice pair of cans,
would be nice to have either powerbronze or pyramid belly pan, and I quite like the numberboard look.

I haven't got much of a budget so not looking at dealer prices, looking for the best I can get within my budget.

Location, I don't mind travelling a bit but the bike must be described honestly, I'm not keen on going along way to look at a sh1tter that was described as mint. Not easy being down in Devon most good bikes are miles away.

Please form an orderly queue with photo's of your bikes at the ready

I'm still thinking about the one in the Highlands that a few have said they'll view for me but it's so far away I'm being a bit chicken on it and think it'll cost a fortune t get it back home, you mention highlands and the price goes up.

The Yellow one I was thinking about the advert ran out, I've emailed again but no reply.

iv a mate over here may be selling one. would mean flying into belfast and riding it home.. its an 05 dark blue one , think it has about 25k on it. clean enough looking but not a show bike but hasnt went up the road and he dosent ride it hard. standard apart from seat hump and dan moto carbon cans , its also just had a new chain... think hes looking in around 1400 ish for it..oh its just had pads all round to.

its a nice bit of history with it as it was sold by the joey dunlop foundation to him.
the older i get,the faster i was

Price sounds good but I can't travel that far to get it, I did 280 mile round trip today to see one that was a complete dog, it's put me off, think i'll just wait for one to come up fairly local, if one doesn't then look at alternatives :(
