Well it's like YMV really. As ugly as wombles but is reliable and runs well.

With mileage to a tank like that I think the two of you will get on just fine and it a V :biggrin

Nice one virt, I'm not a complete fan of the looks, but it looks like it will be comfy and soak up the miles fella, and you still have a v twin

I was originally going for an Aprilia Dorsoduro when I posted that, but I realised that fuel stops every 100 miles + no wind protection would just piss me off.. So I changed my mind

On that note before you hand over your hard earnt dosh - research Suzuki build quality as for example Bazza's brother and Seb's Suzys both corroded rapidly.

Surprised you went new - as with the new Honda Africa Twin coming out very soon I expect many bargain secondhand Honda Adventure bikes i.e Varaderos, CrossTourers, old style Africa Twins etc glutting the market.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

IMO looks don't matter that much. Most bikes that are practical, comfortable and good to ride are not exactly beautiful, like an 1199 or something, but I bet after a long, full day's ride most people would rather be on an ugly piece of sh1t than a good looking back and wrist torture machine.

At least you can keep riding when the road says stop for a VTR.
I'd have one, i just wouldn't tell anyone ;)

Hope you get many years of smiles out of it and it takes where the VTR couldn't ;)
Can you turn the ABS off on your bike?
