10w40 with JASO MA/MA2, trusted brand. Choose one and stick with it as long as possible.

Castrol Power 1 semi synthetic, well that's what the Honda dealers recommend, and it's what I use.

It's a semi synthetic bike oil so is all good. But personally I don't like to mix oils but having any oil is better than being ultra low. I also use the castrol when I can as it means when I need the odd litre for top up's it's easy to pick up at Halfrauds or most garages. Otherwise I end up getting the Motol package of ebay with the free extra litre deals and filter.

That's a good thing. Mine is pretty good too. If a bike burns a lot of oil then it has issues.

Is there any big deal swapping from mineral oil to semi-synthetic. Just drain, refill with semi synthetic and new oil filter. Or is it more involved than that? And what mileage should the semi synthetic be changed at?

Thanks
Cheers
