hi fellas,
had my 03 vtr since nov 14....i'm addicted! thanks for the great info provided on this site.
winter here in nz, and ive finally got clear passage to check the valves....thanks to topic on ccts.....which i have also installed when i first got bike.
was wandering if there are any must do/should do/could do to carbs whilst off??
bike running fine prior to valve check, although slight 'cough' around 2.5k rpm on steady throttle.
just as a side note/feedback, i did loads of online searching re removing valve covers/checking valves etc on vtrs and nothing obvious comes up. i only found the photos/description thru the cct article....kinda by chance.
could it be copied and given heading along lines of ''removing valve covers'' or something to assist folk when searching.???? just a thought.
anyway. im off to bed now. thanks for time. jason
