This is my sixth VTR! Two Firestorms, two SP-1s and one SP-2 before this (not in that order).

UK bike, 2004, a genuine 3000 miles, completely standard (except for the seat pad). Not a mark on it. The best colours IMO (especially with the silver frame). I'm not going to do anything to it.

Will get some better photos when it's a good enough day to take it out.

I'd rather not be specific, but I had to pay top money for it.

I think we're now at the point where very low mileage, immaculate examples are selling around or above the original RRP, and I think it won't be long before they exceed the RRP of current model superbikes.

I'd much rather have this than a new Fireblade. It's heavy and slow by comparison, but IMO it's a piece of engineering art.

I just need a second one now that I can put some proper miles on!

White was always my first colour of choice for the SP-2 but have to admit the black and red has been growing on me.....
Nice looking example of a cracking bike.
Now go and put some miles on it...... :D

The first SP-2 I had was a 2006 all black example. It was nice, but the painted frame and swingarm don't look nearly as good as the brushed alloy, and it's more prone to marks too.

This colour scheme was a 'grower' for me, but is now a clear favorite. The white is nice, but doesn't look quite as premium. Plus, it's harder to find an immaculate white bike as they were the first SP-2 colours.

Very Nice! 8)
and may I say, I think you have excellent taste in machinery :P

I prefer the dark frame myself but you re right, they can get marked easily.

10 times as many miles but still not too bad looking
