Anyway here she is
Lots of mods lined up
Obligatory manual cct
Full ohlins suspension
New fairings in blue and white
High rise screen
New
Seat
Tank cover
Smaller LED indicators
Possible HID conversion
Carbon exhausts... till they catch fire haha
Anytging else i should do?

Hello and welcome .
Your list is just scratching the surface lol
Keep an eye on the oil level as some that have been abused use it more than the USA

Welcome to the club mate. Obviously a man of impeccable taste changing the colour to blue!

Ohlins....over rated, over priced in my opinion.
There are many other suspension companys that will do the work for a lot less, and be as good.
Save some money for the other mods you'll be doing.
I'm going to try a YSS rear shock on mine.
They have the guy who was behind WP suspension working for them.
The front end is going to be "Rogered" as he is only an hour away from me.

Welcome along sir
Bloody nice to see a Storm being saved from the back door, hope your project is an enjoyable one. Looks like it doesn't need too much to freshen it up.
Although, going blue after black is a downgrade

The photos dont do the crappy paint any justice.. its a flat black rattle can job that hasnt come out as intended mixed with splodges of green paint over the entire fairing. I will get some close ups.
Ohlins is merely for chipolata size bragging rights. That and i got an awesome deal on a second hand one ;) springs are only £90 and i will do the work and set up myself.
So far the restore has been painful and frustrating, i spent a couple hours cleaning the calipers, freeing seized pistons and cleaning up copious amounts of unnesacary copper grease! I hate copper grease anywhere other than bolts, red rubber grease for brakes only. and getting the pads to actually contact the discs!! Went on to bleed the clutch and the nipple sheared straight off. Easy enough fix but added time, ecspecially as she is currently my daily commuter too.

Did you buy that one on eBay for £321?
