Parts required to finish the Phoenix ready for Devon Storm
Not sure if anyone would have one but a rattle plate for a fireblade 929 front calliper
Either a fuel cap or complete lock set ignition, fuel cap and seat lock (same key and hopefully 2 of them)
Left radiator mounting bracket
Exhaust hangers
Muchly appreciated

I'm sure I have a fuel cap. It will need digging out but I'm off to work in a bit so it will have to be tonight.VTR Phoenix wrote:Not sure if anyone would have one but a rattle plate for a fireblade 929 front calliper

I do indeed have one.
One key, small bit of corrosion but worst of all most of the bolts are missing. Just spent a good half hours raking through tubs of fixings...
Turned up two of the long ones...
Three long bolts hold it on & the other four are just decorative...Funny size tho 5mm cap head but the shaft is 3mm.
http://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/a/hon/ ... /fuel-tank
No. 18 is the long bolt but this dont show the small ones as a part you can buy.
If it's any good to you let me know on here & I'll post to you. Grattis just cover the post.
If you dont want it grab Lloydies one then ask him to sell you his fuel cap...you might need lube be prepared...

Thanks a lot Mac, all greatly received. I have some old cap bolts from other projects plus a few anodised one's that will do for now as I haven't even had it running yet.
Let me know what I need to transfer and I can send it over, to the address I sent to before?

I'll remember that, although after going through the parts bin I realise there are more parts that need acquiring.tony.mon wrote:He's a martyr to his bowel movements, poor thing.MacV2 wrote:Cheers Paul, plenty of bits in stock if you need anything give us a shout. What to get rid of the rear foot peg (as it only came with one) so need some hangers that would connect to the foot hanger mounting points.
Again only have one mirror but not sure whether to go with standard or aftermarket ones yet.

You want after market hangers ? I do have some std ones ...

I may have a set of aftermarket mirrors soon but they will be sans mounting points as you use the std ones on these & I need those to refit the std ones.

Re: Parts required to finish the Phoenix ready for Devon Sto
Cheers Mac, still haven't decided whether to spend £60 on hangers or go with footpegs. I'm thinking that it will be more appealing to prospective buyers to have it as a two seater.
So a list of parts still needed are:-
Front caliper pad rattle plate (929 fireblade)
Thinking I'll stick with the standard mirrors so either one (left I think, but will check) failing that a pair in good condition.
Left hand radiator bracket (the larger one of the two)
Think I'll go with your pair of footpegs Mac. Unless you have an odd left one?
I'm beginning to think this bike might have had a slide on the left side for some reason. Log book is clean but haven't done a HPI on it.
If you have any more of the above then I'll take it.
