Guys.... those with internet from BT should count their blessings even if
it throws a wobbler now and again .... Us folks here in St Helens do not even
have a decent internet ..let alone Superfast broadband ... BT have abandoned
this poor town its an absolute disgrace whilst the country surges ahead we are
left alone shame on you BT ..

I wasn't knocking the service we get from BT, as it was only off for a couple of hours, and the first time that has ever happened for that length of time in over 10yrs. I was more interested in hearing if other site members had been hit.

Good luck with Virgin Abt  It must be very annoying and frustrating for those who can't access good Internet speeds, I can still remember what dial up speeds were like 8O

That's funny I have vowed to never again get anything from Virgin, when I enquired about getting broad band in my area which is on the outside of London they told me my area wasn't worth investing in, BT begged to differ.

Maybe, but come on were are right next door to Lakeside and Grays, both of which have enough residents and users to justify it.

The problem with Virgin when it comes to broad band installing ADSL is easy ( but crap ) high speed broad band is a whole new ball game, praising Virgin is like praising Dracula for being a parasite.
