Storming the track.

Hi all
Was recommended to this forum by a friend. Had my storm a few months, hardly used it so not too up on what it's like but the few times i've managed to get out on it I was pretty impressed. (always had R1's)
Decided to track day it. Swapped the straight bars back to standard bars, bodged up some rad protection because it has no fairings....looks ugly but hopefully i'll stay on it or if not hopefully the rads may survive....I have spares!!
So...HELLO. Look forward to reading up on the modifications and possibly buying some spares if any needed.

Phil.

HELLO. Looking forward to selling you the spares
Enjoy the track day. Which track? Hopefully a short one without a fairing...

Thanks for greetings...cheers
Brands, Indy circuit on 28th April. The bike will hopefully hold out, seems pretty good so with any luck i'll have a good day.
Looking forward to getting back on track again, not sure how i'll do but it'll be a giggle getting to grips with the old pig.....it looks a bit squiffy with my homemade 'fairings'.

So i'm told. Also been trawling Youtube and watching some videos of Storms and seems they can mix it up quite well. I'm a bit concerned about grounding out but from what I see they get some good lean angle.
Supposedly mine has got progressive fork springs....and that's as far as it goes. Oh..Goodrich brake hoses too....and ONE gillies rear set on the right, standard left.....Mmmmm.

I'll probably try and get a guy I know to cast an eye over the bike with me on it to see if he can get it set up for me. He's a racer so knows his stuff, well I assume it's him that sets his bikes up. Either way i'll try and get it as ready as possible and then just get stuck in....what could possibly go wrong :D

You don't want to know !
I'm trying to get mine ready for the 3rd but it's one step forward and 20 back at the minute :-(

If he's a good racer he should know how to set it up best he can with what you have
