Which Coolant??????

Post by Taz69 »

Hi all,

I'm sure it's been asked before however I'm in desperate need of some coolant!
I've removed the rads and am replacing the hoses so it's a total refill!

I think I've narrowed it down to either Silkolene Mag cool 4 X 1L bottles or Honda Type 2 coolant from the local Honda Car dealers.

Which stuff is the right stuff please guys? I know it needs to be Silicate free at least.

Thanks

Thanks Wicky, I removing the hoses etc so it's going to be empty, so it looks like I'll need 3.6 L 2.9 for the system and .7 for the bottle is that correct?
Thanks
