Greetings to all
A quick note to say hello.
I am not so much a "born again" as a "frequently aborted" bike rider, four separate periods of motorcycles split by kids, injury and retirement.
I've retired twice, so I'm getting used to it, and working on retiring for the last time in about 10 years.
Currently lurking in the Creuse in France, that's the empty bit between Orleans and Limoges.
Bike history goes from a BSA Bantam, the posh one with four gears, through various odds and ends - VFR750, couple of Dukes, TDM 850, Royal Enfield Meteor and Meteor Minor, Kawasaki Z and GT 750, yak yak. Thinking about it, I never owned a Suzuki, unless the Samurai counts..................

Stay away from the cities, as in most of Europe, and the people are really laid back and willing to help.
Coffee is drinkable, as is some beer.
Two hours for lunch.
All the bobbies are in the cities - see point 1.
All the roads were built by people who have no concept of the word "straight".

I've driven thru that neck of the woods several times, as I do the Rouen/chartres/Orleans route from Calais to the pyrenee's. welcome to the forum buddy...
