Hey Forum! I've not been around for a while and the Storm is in the dark recesses of the garage covered and untouched for well over a year now. But ---- Macdee got me out of my slumber, 
and over the period I've kept an envious eye on Al and Geo and their pedalling exploits.
So, I thought I'd head to the garage, take the battery of the conditioner and see about starting the beloved beast. Now, given my mechanical abilities remain rather limited, I recall somewhere that if it hasn't been started for a while there are some sensible things to do first - I only remember using fresh fuel, removing plugs and turning the lot by hand a few times. Anything else?????
And what's news?? I don't really want to trawl through two plus years of whether Virt has started shaving up and so on........

Mine was cranked over with the kill switch turned on to circulate FRESH oil.
Good to see you mate. I've missed the penny farthing. How's life treating you...last we heard you where having woman problems. I've been through a similar situation and having to make some life changes. My Storm has been off the road for year as well but every now and then I have started up.
