hmmmm low mileage maybe, but not ultra low, but £3000 oh and the tyres are shagged......
i'm all for increasing the value of our bikes, as they are hugely underrated road bikes, but when you see what £3000 can buy you, I think this guy may have recently received a blow to the head

I know I've met that sort of person before, he will be lucky to sell it at half the price let alone £3000.

I used to go on Swapz site and swap bikes, you always got that one person whose bike was worth fortune ( not ) and yours wasn't worth that much.

Yeah but it's a stars bike so must have some extra value in that...

It's obviously, it's at that price due to the colour

I will say one thing about the seller, he is open to offers, and you can always come down on price.
It is fairly rare to see one with the original length rear mudguard/number plate holder, most have been cut down,

That was my first thought. Maybe he's aiming or should I say dreaming at the collectors market. There's always going to be someone trying it on just waiting for some innocent that knows no better.

Mine has original mudguard/number plate holder and a little over half the mileage of his, does that make it £6k or near offer :biggrin

Oh hang on it's Yellow, will that effect my price

He's dreaming alright... low miles maybe but it' aint that special. I paid less than half that price for my current storm.. ok, it does have an extra 8k on the clock but would match that one for condition plus I also have all the mots, lots of history, all original manuals inc dealer books.. full rear under tray, tool kit inc the elastic band that holds it in place.. not to mention a nice few subtle upgrades inc pyramid belly pan, carbon f/mudguard, mra touring screen etc and ofc all the original parts came with it too.

If you want to recalibrate your brain to dreaming, have a look at the Bike shed, old street website and look at some of the classifieds :eek2 fek me some of the bikes on there are ridiculous for what they are
