Anyone local to ElseMade with a Sergeant seat?

Good day

Im considering having a seat cover made by http://www.elsemade.com located at High Road Wisbech St Mary Cambs Pe13 4rh. The problem is, they do not have a pattern for a VTR1000F Sergent seat. That would mean shipping a seat form the US to them and back at significant cost.

Does anyone local ElseMade have a VTR Sergent seat and fancy a new cover? If so...Id be willing to pitch in a few quid (did I get that right?lol) toward your purchase of a new seat cover.

Respectfully;
Erik

I think you may struggle with that request Erik...There wont be that many Sergeant seats in the UK...Think its more of a US brand...

I could be wrong tho...I have been in the past... :lol: :lol:

I've only seen 2 of those seat in the uk, I know they're quality, but if I was you, i'd get alastair (alastair else of elsemade) to just do you a top spec oem seat you won't regret it mate, I've had two of his seats to date, absolutely fantastic, 400 miles a day and no sore backside, I also got mine raised where it meets the tank, only by 1cm, but this eliminates sliding forward and crushing your meat n two veg... :wink:
I was one of his earliest customers when he first started his business, I rode from London up to wisbech to meet him. a real decent guy, his work is spot on. I will say this, ask him to lose a tiny bit of material at the rear end of the seat, the reason being, the fabric he uses for the covers is often thicker and much better quality than oem, but this can cause issues with your single seat cowl, as the fabric is thicker it can damage the rear mounting point on the seat cowl, just make him aware of the issue and i'm sure he will sort it out, lastly the only tiny negative, is he gets so busy he doesn't always respond to emails as quickly as a customer would like.
if I ever change my bike, I would definitely have him make me another seat.
