During any ride, I have to
Watch out for old French drivers
ditto young French drivers
look out for mud dropped by one of several thousand tractors
ditto tractors themselves
be aware that the road may have recently been regravelled, causing fun on each bend
watch out for deer
ditto cows
ditto other fauna
whilst observing the countryside (pleasure), rules of the road ( old Bill, or vieux Guillaume ), bike ( mechanical or electrical inconveniences ), and other traffic ( on the off chance I see someone I know / like )
and you expect me to remember a camera?????
