My international Liscence has been good and expired for four days now. I have the car liscence AT. I can't find shite for info in English and every time I ask my wife about something she puts no effort in. I ride my bike so much It will get an overhaul while I get my liscence. Problem is I was quoted 200,000. I make less than that a month. I currently am riding it to work on a shredded tire. Please anyone who had to go through the ringer in Japan let me know. Ishikawa.

Not sure if this is any help:-
Getting a Japanese Driver’s License
Getting your Japanese Driver’s License can be a little more complex and difficult. First of all, again if you are from a country that has an agreement with Japan (the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and large parts of Europe do) then you can go to the Japanese Driving Centre with a certified translation of your home country licence, and after a quick interview with an official at the centre you will be issued with your new Japanese driver’s license (in all with fees included it will costs in the region of 10000 yen).
