Hey folks, been looking for VTR specific elsemade seat pictures but the search is mostly bringing up posts with just the name, or post with broken picture links (thanks photobucket assholes)

If you have a Elsemade seat cover Id really like to see a pic please..trying to decide on the style, which i font remember him having so many last time I looked. I don't have a good idea of what those different styles look like on a VTR.

I have looked at the gallery on Elsemade, but while he has a few VTR's there, non of the pics say what style seat is installed????

So if you have one...what style is it Razorback, Slipstream, Ridgeback, Airstream ?
Did you use the stock foam or something else?
Do you use the seat cowl?

Overall Im looking for seat that is as comfy as my Sergeant or Corbin, but an updated custom look. Solo design, and no seat cowl.

Thanks

Respectfully;

Erik

I was the first firestorm owner to use and meet alastair of elsemade. a real nice guy, he decide to go it along, as he had been doing upholstery for a bus company, but they treated their employees like crap.
he has 4 basic designs iirc. but you can pick and choose from hundreds of different fabric styles. plus piping if that's your thing, he will also embroider logo's and such like.
he also offers different padding, iirc mine is an ultimate comfort seat, which uses gel inserts and memory foam, he also took onboard an idea I had, which was to raise the front of the seat by a centimetre, which helps eliminate ball crush under heavy braking. he'll listen to you and pretty much do what you want. iirc now days he requires a decent condition seat to be sent to him, whist he works on a spare that he keeps in stock, that way your loss of bike time is kept to a minimum.
here's a picture of mine fitted. I went with faux suede, and a carbon patterned vinyl down the sides, it's also reshaped in a few places. I wanted to keep mine subtle.

this was the first one he did for me on a previous vtr, a tad chavy to some, but I liked it at the time, but as I said before, mine is more basic and not so loud now hahaha

Is the "Foe-suede" seat made out of the skin of Volvo drivers after they made a faux pas?
