Cheap small car wanted

My daughters 04 Clio has died so I am now looking for a replacement for her.

Any of you know anyone looking to get rid of a small hatchback in the £1k range that hasn't got any skeletons in the closet.

As with all old things I care more about the owners credibility than how polished it looks, hence looking for any links to that real careful lady owner
