Hello All!

This is to inform you about the initiative taken to convince Honda to bring VTR 1000 f back to production! We will make it by building a critical mass of people in love with VTR gathered around the twitter profile @MakeVtr . The tactical goal is to gather 1000 followers in short period of time and adress Honda with this popularity. So please follow @MakeVtr if you like this initiative.

Cheers,

Michal

I like the idea in principal but doubt it would happen unless you want to see something like Suzukis revamp of the Katana... 8O

So you would end up with a new version of the Firestorm which is a compleatly differnt bike just called a Firestorm...

Honda are pulling out of F1 at the end of 2021, they say it's to concentrate their R&D into Electric vehicals & altenative power sources...

Electric Firestorm...er no thanks...

Meanwhile just as aside F1 are looking at using 2 stroke engines running on Bio Fuel in the future... :o

+ I don't have twitter so cant do what you ask even If I wanted to....

For authenticity, I would love for 'Michal' to post a pic of his current Firestorm.

My pessimistic view is that this is merely a dredge for Twit followers.

Do you think Honda will build just the three?

It was what you said earlier that made me look it up, as you got me thinking :)

I wouldn't call it negative, it's more like being skeptical I would say :D

When you get to a certain age you stop taking things at face value as you did when you were many years younger, which makes you question things. Well that's me anyway, my wife has often said I'm sounding like Victor Meldrew :shh:

I found this on that Twitter link:-

If Honda did a VTR sport tourer redux more chance of it using a parallel twin motor say from CRF1100 - already with FI for emissions etc. than developing old VTR / VTR SP motor or another V2 from scratch.
