How's this? I was riding home the other night, lane splitting at lights and I couldn't quite make it past a couple of cars because their mirrors were too close. The guy on the left hits a button in his car and, hey presto, his mirror folds in leaving me enough room to pass. After a thank you of course!! 8-) Just shows that they're not all inconsiderate.

Rich you are a cynic of the highest order, I bow to your greatness
I find that if you SHOW yourself to cagers, they will generally make room.
Especially if your bike's yella!

You can definately spot the bike owning car drivers out there
The twats who deliberately try and hinder your progress make my blood boil tho.
I had one a couple of days ago.
Rush hour traffic, filtering down the middle, not doing anything wrong when a car coming the other way moves right over to the right, as close as he can get to me and starts gesturing that I should be waiting in the queue
I don't think he expected me to turn around and follow him until he was forced to stop at some lights tho........lol

This is why I don't always get road riding, I'm not an annoying butt

!
Seems you all want the box drivers to play with you. Don't tease them and they won't f**k you off, IMO.
Anyway, I think the mirror guy was just showing off.
And hey, kids, play nice and live another day

this only happens ( rolling on and off throttle) once they have already pissed me off!

say they've seen the bike behind them but they refuse to move over, even tho the car in the next lane is half a mile away..... or they've blocked your way through.
This is also what I was getting at!

You could be right, but the way I see it, he didn't have to, so I appreciated it anyway.
