Hi folks, don't know if you'd be interested in my latest project,I know it aint a Storm but I enjoy doing the spanner work just as much as riding.....
First up before anything could progress I had to make a bracket for the bike lift as the Storm fitment would'nt work.......

Please don't look at the welding.........
This is how it actualy helps get the bike in the air.......
This is where I'm starting, got a few goods to attatch and going to upgrade the fork springs too........
Without the bike lift I'd be totally unable to do owt'

And a brand new rear shock
You're certainly going through the bike, it should be a lot better when you've finished it all
Chris.

This has'nt seen grease in a long time..........
Fairly lucky really as not too many parts are knackered.
All ready for rebuilding after the new bearings and bush are in the rocker.........

Had a couple of set backs whilst working in the 30c sunshine.......
Firstly after getting the linkage back together I came to fit the new shock and it did'nt.

Never noticed in this pic that the bottom fitment is different,I had to shell out for a new YSS shock
which went straight in.........
I managed to get all the PAIR bolts out with MAP gas but the PO had left 2 broken exhaust bolts in one
of which had a snapped off drill bit inside and was just impossible to get out.I managed to drill in enough to
get a T20 torx bit in but it was'nt having any.
I'm having to admit defeat and taking it to a guy in Addlington who has had some success at removing them before.
