update on mouse living in air box.

Carbs have been off for three months, as has all the plastic. So the yellow bits, tank and plastic, were on any available horizontal surface outside. Carbs were in bits on a bench with other bike parts in bits.
I thought I would put the carbs together tomorrow, just like all the other things I am putting off.
Sister in law dumped a car here and left me a long list of instructions. Repair this, repair that and on and on. Hopefully if I ignore her silver car she will take the hint and take it away.
Anyway she seems to have spurred me on.
Slung the carbs back together, slapped them back on and fired it up.
Bench idle settings were slow and lean, after a twiddle it’s rich on the nose, but great in the ear.
Last year it ran perfectly, perfectly but for the popping back thought the carbs when changing down.
The popping back has gone, can’t say it feels any different except the popping, but I haven’t ridden it for something like 10 months and only put 80 miles on it in the previous year!
It still feels like a strange bike to me.
Anyway as I put the plastic back on it started to piss down and being I don’t ride in the rain anymore.
I had to go out yesterday and it was nicer dry day so I took the VTR. Only real issue was what complete juggler implemented the 20 mph speed limits!
When I slowed down going though the town I was hit by the smell of mousepiss. Mice have been playing happy families in the backpack. My VTR needs a cat.
