It was one of those strange days where the light took on a surreal glow as it filtered through the trees, casting erie shadows accross the smooth road.
The rider thumbed the button and the powerful V-twin pounded in to life with a deafening roar, flames spitting from the pipes................................................

She mounted her trusty steed, revelling in the otherwise silent, early morning. With the cool breeze sharpening her senses, she accelerated slowly as the engine warmed and within seconds, her home street returned to silence.

50.........60............80...........110, the front wheel hovering inches above the road as another wave of torque pulsated through the grips.
Hard on the brakes, flicking left as the road dropped awaydown the hill, and now hard right senseing the footpegs kiss the road, leaving a trail of coruscating embers.
A sardonic grin spread across her face hidden behind the blackest of black visors.

She noticed a speck on the road, some distance ahead. As she massaged the throttle, unleashing the storm to near its full potential, she realised it was a kindred spirit atop a storm of their own.

She could tell by the way superb way the storm was being riden that the rider was a man, she had no hope or catching him or so she thought, when from out of nowhere

a bunny hopped out & because it was a BOY riding, he was not being careful enough & stacked it. Luckily, the chick rider happened to be a nurse. She stopped...

Turned out to be a slower speed spill than she expected, aparted from wounded pride the young man was OK.
Assuring him that it didn't look quite as embarassing as he thought, she left him waiting for the AA to collect him and his now sadly damaged Storm.
With a flick of her hair and a sympathetic smile she felt the familar excitement rise as she restarted her machine, the engine awaking from slumber, growling in anticipation of their continued partnership.

some folks have no imagination or sensitivity, I feel a growing fondness for our friend from Oz, whitty intelligent and obviously beautiful, dressed in leather.................wow
