1997 FireStorm 2000 SuperHawk differences

Hello to all,
I am a recent owner and convert to a 2000 SuperHawk (Nov 24) and a 1997 FireStorm (Jan 25) I switched rides from a 1990 VT1100 Shadow and 2002 BMW F650 cs last year. Both great bikes but not having my feet underneath me to be able to lift and be able to absorb with my legs some of the bumps and potholes on the Shadow and the 650 a bit tiring on the longer rides I made the decision to look for a more upright stance, I'm 62 and not as nimble anymore. I like the torque of the v twins since I live in a mountainous area, it cuts down on shifting all the time, the Shadow would just lift you out of the curves, and now the SuperHawk. Hence the reason for this post, I did a handlebar riser conversion on the SuperHawk so far, the shock tubes are a 41mm diameter. Then this past January I bought the FireStorm in Europe, to ride out there and noticed a few differences, I am hoping someone has the answers on these variances I have noticed so far.
1- the windscreen on the FireStorm does not have the small light
2- front brakes have dual single brake lines to the right and left front brake calipers, not the single line and split right and left at the bottom of the fairing
3- the shock tube uppers are 43mm as opposed to the 41mm as on the SuperHawk
Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
