I just registered to Your forum. This is a quite nice place to be in. Those jokes especially are very nice. I have owned my VTR for about 4 weeks now. It's a great bike. I have travelled 3500 km on it and enjoyed every second. I have had many different kinds of bikes; cbr 600, vn 750, kawa z 750 and a few motocross bikes. This is the best of all.
So... anyway...nice to be here.
Sorry for the language, I'm from Finland.

Right now the weather is quite good. About 20°C but lots of clouds. I am going to southern Finland, Helsinki this afternoon. Hope it doesn't start raining. I'm suppose to be at work in Porvoo next monday 7:00. I won't be back until 18th of September. I whish I find a internet connection somewhere over there so I don't get sick. I'm already very addicted to this site.

Awwwww, how sweet, makesake! You're coming back on my birthday

.
Can you translate your signature line for us/me?
I know squat about languages other than English...
Thought Porvoo was French for "and you" or something...

I will cop that on behalf of my largely uneducated, fellow countrymen, because I know exactly what you mean

. It's embarrassing over here... My mum was a teacher, my dad an academic and I think my family is the only one in Australia to actually still speak English. When I was a legal secretary, I had several academics & practitioners bring their research to me to proof before publishing, because even most of them didn't have a clue. Was horrified recently to hear a husband & wife, who are both teachers, agree that "it doesn't matter what you say, as long as you get your point across". What hope have we got?
I am proud to say my Concise Oxford English Dictionary (actually bought (no, not "brought") in Oxford) is right next to me, with my bible (yes, that's right...) and my drug guide. It almost brings tears to my eyes to know that there is in fact something called the Australian English Dictionary floating around these parts...
