PETROL PROTEST

Petrol Protest could be going ahead from 6am Wed 14th, it sounds like blocking the re-fineries again which I thought was now against the law (law changed) after the last protest
People tonight apparently have been queuing from 4pm or may be earlier, at our local Tesco's until I went down to get some myself at 10.30pm and were still queuing when I left
So you better get some before Wednesday if you've not already
Chris.

Likewise where i am. Really crazy. Queue's everywhere. people filling 20 ltr jerry cans as well.
Prices shot up as well. Surprised? Not really robbing B******s.
Something like 67% of the price of a litre is tax.

Strange, I passed about 4 stations on my way to work this morning with no queues (all on main roads).

Did I mention where they were smart butt? " 3 were motorway stations and an other was on a major road in Edinburgh. My usual backwater, rocking chair lovin, banjo playing, sister marrying station was empty, but then it always is.
My point, which I seem to have forgotten to make, was that the queuing seems to be localised. Not everybody is getting it.

The stations in Edinburger are fairly close to Grangemouth if that is of any significance.

NEWSFLASH
If you are in Surrey then good luck with getting gas. I spent an hour riding around in 6th gear trying to find a petrol station but to no avail. i ended up paying £20 for a tank of Shell Optimax that was all that was left.
I hope that this is just a hoax cos i can't live without my rides

Which is quite surprising as thats against the petrolium storage laws for your average man in the street. The most you can keep in a container is 5 ltrs, apart from the tank built into a vehicle of course....!
Not only were the punters breaking the law so were the garages! Can't see the point in panic buying myself.
