Excellent to hear a few of you planning a weekend up my way. I live just 20miles further north. Any weekend throughout may suits me, and i'm sure I'll be able to round up another few bodies to bring along and join in on the fun! The more the merrier!
If I can be of assistance in any way just give us a shout, might even be able to supply some accommodation. (Have to clear it wi the missus first tho!)
Dave.

when you get to the Hamilton services, give me a bell, i've not been to inverness up the stirling road.

i can meet you on the A80 but i don't think it's the most scenic route, loch lommond is better, but when do you get a chance to look at the scenery much on a bike, you'd be over the first hedge, or in the loch in this case.

yup, and some roads that you can get absolutely flat out on............hurmph, i didn't say that officer.

don't try this at the weekends though, especially sunday, the police helicopter flies this road regularly, and its also well patroled by unmarked cars and bikes.

Drovers inn !!!!! Should be called The Richard Turpin !!!! Bloody bare faced robbery !!!
Popped in there earlier this year, ordered drinks and booked a table, sat and waited in the lounge, browsed through the menu and then promptly cancelled, finished our drinks and went to another establishment !!!
Kaz . . . . you are obviously used to the high life if you pay their prices !!!!

Pete,
5 hours 20mins you'll need more than an SP2 to get up here in that time from Bristol. Same goes for the cusion.
I should be able to make any date, as Inverness is only 1/2 hour South for me.

Havn't been on for a while but from what I have seen and read you all had a riot in the Lakes.

Cheers

A.M.

ps, Davie, call in and get the crack (for the more filthy minded, a blether) (Yella) sometime when you are passing.
