My daughter had a rat called Trixie as a pet, It was the best pet we ever had. It took every thing in its stride, all her friends would grab it, squeeze it etc and it never thought about nipping, the only thing it bit was the dog, which was trying to eat it so thats only fair really.VTR1000KAZ wrote:

Quite fair, Max. I agree. When I was a kid, a shetland pony bit me. Nasty-tempered things. Apparently I leant forward & bit the tip off it's ear. That's how the story goes, anyway. I was a tad too young to remember. One of my dad's favourite stories.
