Since you're always organising fabulous get-togethers & having so much fun that I can't even bring myself to read the related threads... And since it's no secret that I love to make you guys jealous...

I'm going to a FireStorming this weekend. The count stands at 16 Storms at the mo'. It's a play-with-everyone's-bikes from 2pm Sat, followed by a good ol' Aussie barbie (that's the cooking kind, not the doll) & no doubt, much drinking & merriment. And then on Sunday, after a sleep-over, a huge ride all around the Sunshine Coast hinterland to my favourite pub for lunch (I think, route not completely decided yet...). And to top it off, I don't have to be back at work until Monday afternoon. Weather forecast for the weekend: Fine. Not that one really needs to check that kind of thing over here  .

So there :P .

Hope you guys can all remember how to ride when you finally dust the cobwebs off your bikes & take them outside again...

I cant imagine what its like to ride in hot weather like that, must be awful. Sweaty horrible leathers, dusty roads, sun in the eys all the time, worrying about skin cancer. i dont know how you cope, you must really wish you were over here in the UK.

Nice try Slim  , but it's bliss. Can't help but put a smile on your face every time.

And Curly, first time I ever heard of putting salt on roads was through this forum. To my knowledge, there ain't the need for such things over here.

Wahayyyyy, only 3 more sleeps :D :D :D .

Breathe? Don't you lot have to wear some kind of apparatus to filter out the cold so your throats don't freeze?

Beautiful, unpolluted Aussie air over here. Breathing is sweet, right Larry?

(We just won't mention Sydney...)
