I might get shouted down for this but does anybody know the easiest way to get the code for a ford radio.
I had to disconnect the battery on my 99 Transit 8O (shouts from the background) last week, to do a bit of welding on the floor.
How do i go about getting the code.

Here's hoping some of you clever people know :?

By the way it is not white.

Also, anybody got a subaru, if you have, have you ever had hassle with the key fob?, ie not working when you need it

Cheers

A.M

Yellow pages.

Local ICE center (in car entertainment) Part with about £10, radio decoded, sorted!

OR go to fords with your log book and they may be able to check their records. You may have to pay fords.

ICE center may be cheaper!

the freezer trick worked on the very early ford radios from early 90s to late 80s but they got around it after that
