went to leicester today and bought me a storm

pick it up next saturday just being restricted at the moment!

its a black storm 1998 19000 miles high level art cans spyball alarm bellypan and wp rear shock and i CANT WAIT to ride it

u will have loads of fun, i had loads of fun on a blade, but storm gives me a bigger smile

A restricted storm dont like the sound of that hope its not like that for to long for you

yeh really looking forward to it! as for the restriction.. well i wont be dissappointed in the performance because i havent ridden it unrestricted so it shouldnt be too bad..

What's this restriction business? Haven't heard of it, but I don't like the sound of it. Is this something for new riders or something? Do tell.

The restriction is because im 18. I passed my test on a 125cc bike at 17 and two years from that pass date i have to have any bike i ride restricted to 33bhp

Just another pointless law really, if i passed my car test i could (if i was rich enough) jump into a ferarri with no speed limitations.

ah well ill still be able to beat most things at the lights even with the strom restricted hehe

a restricted storm,good on ya,but wont it choke the engine ,cos i no 50bhp run ok on kits,like er5s,sv,bandits etc but around 100bhp dont run very well ?????????????????? ,my x missus had a restricted sv650 ,but we found out later that the garage who restricted her ,give us the certificate to say it had been done ,when in fact there was not one in,and i no that they have been took out , when they have been done ,cos as long you have got that piece of paper who would no ,like they deristrict 50s,and she also got stopped by the law ,and when she took her documents in she wasnt even asked for the certificate ,even thou the 25kw restriction was on her licence the laws a farce

not sure really, i do know that the storm restricted runs rich though and richer because its got race cans expensive lol

yeh thats what i had heard ,just be careful it dont overchoke the engine,cos fuel consumption is going to be shite,and in the worse case scenario ,ruin the engine ,did the shop say it would run ok ,with the kit on

Just take the restricter out after a couple of months, no bugger will know.

MCN tested a restricted Blade. it still did 90mph plus.

All the restricters are is a couple of washers in between the inlet or outlet manifold and the engine to restrict air flow. It's just like us trying to run breathing through a straw.
