Hi,
Any one help me out, do the Fazer 1000 mirrors fit the VTR and is it just a straight swap fitting ? Fed up seeing elbows.
Cheers
pete.

I don't have any problems with mine at all... can see everything perfectly
I don't think there are too many girls as wide as me. I'm not saying I'm the biggest bloke in the world but I have some width (back me up VTRGirl). These bikes are designed for Japanese shoulders, that's why we can't see anything.

Hi Pete, the Fazer mirrors go straight on, just had to put a small piece of plastic cable tie inside the pivot (behind rubber proteror) to get a better viewing angle, just stops the mirrors locking into place.
There was an excellent view, vibration didn't cause any blurring, they do stick out more, but it doesn't look bad or out of place. Go to a Yamaha dealer and them if you can try one on your bike, thats what I did. I think the guy who had the problem, needs to check his engine mounts.
I paid £79.95 for mine, they are still brand new, want £40.00 for them. Pm Fireman on a storm, he was over and saw them.
