is the sv as fast as the firestorm viper ?

The Sv 1000 being fuel injected should of been quicker, but at first I thought the Firestorm was faster, till I found out the SV is restricted to stop it from wheeling, apparently when the first TL's came out they were flipping the bikes, too much power, so Suzuki restricted the timing in the first four gears, I fitted a TRE (timing retard eliminator) and lo and behold the bike is a missile now.
So the answer to your question in standard trim no, its not faster but has a better top speed. Fit the TRE and the SV is like a scalded cat?
