I had a bad crash last night

Well, it had to happen sooner or later.

Right on midnight. Pitch black. Couldn't see a thing. Not a scrap of light anywhere. It was a high-speed, head-on collision.

I went straight into a wheelie-walker. Flamin' afternoon staff didn't leave a bed-light on for us night dutiers & I walked straight into it. Made a heck of a lot of noise & woke the two demented ladies who were sharing the room (never a good thing, waking the demented...).

There was much blood & bruising, and for anyone who knows what a wheelie-walker is, that will give you an idea of just how nasty the impact was... And also, for those in the know, you will be aware of the height of these things, and thus, the rather delicate area of my injuries :? ...

Anyway, I'm sore & greatly in need of sympathy, so bring it on.

BTW, the bike's fine  although i did have a bit of trouble starting it for the ride home... :P

Awww, thanks for all the well-wishes, peoples, oh, and the slaps. I agree I deserve those :D . And Marty, I'll have to take you up on the kiss-better some time  .

Painful though it was, I hunted down a pic of the evil machine for those in the dark ( )...

Tony, luckily, my "twin air bags" weren't hurt in the accident

Kitch, splendid attempt. You'll be schmoozing with the locals in no time!

Kaz, that's just too cruel. Toooooo cruel.

Max, I note your eager anticipation of my next post. I shall endeavour to make it a good'un
