he seems pre-occupied with quantity whereas he should really focus on quality

Well, it's obvious isn't it? He's not found the right bike to fill that void yet. As soon as he discovers the Storm, the rest will be for sale.

i have a friend whose father has 26 bikes in his garage, all stripped down in tea chests!!!
to be fait they are nortons, bsa's, triumphs etc
gets a different one out each year.....

vtr firestorm
honda nc30
honda trx 400 qaud
yamaha thunderace (streetfighter)
50cc nippi trippi disablility scooter
Only the storms mine though
oh and a kx125 in pieces
