summer evenings........

Went to Squires a few times. Other frequent haunts were Devil's Bridge, Oulten Park, Matlock Bath, all great for rideouts. More suited to a nice sunny Sunday for me though. Evening rides, I just used to hit the A59 round Bunrley, Clitheroe, Skipton etc or head up towards the Lakes (handy as can head back on the motorway if the weather turns nasty.)

Working hard on getting sorted for this summer, so I for one will be up for rideouts once I'm up and gunning.

One thing I'll definitely be doing is heading over the A59/A19 from here up towards Middlesbrough, then head on to Whitby. Long ride, but pretty good.

I usually head through Loftus and over the A137 (or whatever it is) then maybe a pootle round the coast road through Saltburn or down to Robin Hood's. Helmsley and Stokesly's a good run though... I take things relaxed enough on the road I mostly avoid trouble with rozzers.

Used to live in Boro, so know most of the roads round there. Mooching 'round Durham off the A66 is a posibility too.

i got stopped coming home from "into the valley" last week from plod at sutton bank he tried to give me £30 fixed penalty for each race can and for a small number plate which would of been £90 towards there christmas fund , after a bit of sweet talking he let me away with £30 fixed penalty for small numberplate

he also told me he had been instructed to stop bikes only , what the f*ck is that all about

Totally outclassed i heard. Only watched the first half and fell asleep !

I had just driven to London, repaired a crane and driven back though in my defence.

Never mind, Boro are used to it by now !!!
