The Culmination

For the last 8 months, I've been organising a massive joy-ride to raise money for a crisis centre here, run by the Salvos. It's sapped all my energy & most of my time, particularly in the last couple of months. It's finally happening this Sunday & I can't wait for it to be over.
Basically, riders come, volunteering their time, bikes & fuel and the public pay a fee to play pillion on whatever bike (or rider) they like for a police escorted ride in a group.
Last year was the first one & we had about 100 bikes. It went really well & judging by the feedback, this one will be bigger & better (except hopefully this year, that learner guy on the CBR250 won't drop his bike downhill & knock a brand new Harley over...
).
So here's hoping it all goes smoothly. I tell you what though, planning a wedding is a cinch!
