I know this is UK forum but you guys are as close as I can get. I am moving to Italy this winter. I am going to ship my VTR Superhawk. Anyone know how much of a presence the Firestorm has in northern Italy?

Hi KFR. Welcome to the UK. You'll be a lot closer than some of us... I'm part of the Australian contingent.
As for VTRs in Italy? Well, if there aren't many there now, wait until they see yours. There'll be imports from everywhere

When I was in verona last year I saw 3 or 4 storms and loads of other bikes. Some great roads out there and don't forget to go to Bologna for your free tour of the Ducati factory, it's excellent!!

No
It's in black and white written in his auto biography about a 2/3 of the way through, he list the bikes he has got in his garage!

Next question will be about exhaust cans. Does Italy have any restrictions on cans?

I live in Japan but come back to Milan, my home town, about once a year. I do not recall seeing many Storms, as v-twins go I saw more Monsters.
Roads in the Alps are great and there are plenty of motorbykers; I am sure you will enjoy.
Of course there are limitations on loud pipes but I doubt they are enforced too much, except at MOT time. Having said so, most people riding large bikes in Italy do not have noisy exhaust pipes, the latter are more popular among 50cc owners,

Here in Italy there aren't a lot of Firestorm.
Sad to say, but here if your bike haven't at least 3 "R" on its mark and 130 hp, you don't count for anything!
Anyway, have a nice time here.
In which town will you go?
Ciao
