Scarborough Jaunt!

Well the sun shone"mostly"for us over the weekend, A68 thru the borders was infested with revenue makers....still a nice road from Whitby to Scarborough we also had a nice run up into the moors to Goatland"i think its called"..and a wee trip out to York..where I managed to ride through the Pedestrian part in the middle
Oops! Quite funny really tourists all looking at a vtr with the race cans echoing off the buildings....
And no one told me Scarborough is half way up a hill! needed a mountain goat not a bike!!!
A great weekends racing folks up at olivers mount apart from the
(sad fatal sidecar accident on the Sat)
We headed home on Monday up thru Newcastle and morpeth
all went well until outside Perth on the A94...
where i got the slowest part of the journey... I got a rear tyre puncture and had to call out the AA ....so from 4.40
we didnt get home until nearly 9pm after standing at the roadside in some heavy showers for 2 frigging hrs.......
miss giggles was not a happy little bunny...
and I am another £100 lighter for a new Corsa..
But all in all a jolly spanking fun packed biking weekend!
Will post some pics when i have time to download the camera
