hi all, bob here, just got a firestorm 2 weeks ago & after 73 four cylinder bikes in 29 years, what have i been missing i love this v twin, done 1000 mls on it & then i looked in your workshop bit, now i'm worried about my CCT, mines done 63k, what millage do they give up at

hi bob. it's recomended to change them every 20,000mls or so. you'll hear the chain getting a bit rattly as the tensioner wears.

Get them sorted. Mine has 35k on the clock and the front CCT let go which dinked the piston and bent two valves.
If I'd have known they were trouble when I got the bike that would have been the first thing I did!
