I have got a 1200 Bandit for a while from the bike school I teach for.

The week before I picked it up a friend showed interest in my Storm. I started thinking about selling the storm, buying the bandit and putting some money in the bank.

Well I got the Bandit on Tuesday, used it for work Tuesday and Wednesday. After putting air in the tires and having a fiddle with a few of the controls, I was thinking "not a bad bike"

Thursday was sunny, I took the Storm to work.
When I got to work I said sorry to the Storm for even contemplating the Bandit. What a great bike the storm is :D

As for the Bandit. If the bike school want me to keep it as my instructor bike, it will keep the Storm clean through the winter!

Glad you didn't do it - Bandits are dull as ditchwater, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm quite a fan of the 1200 bandit after taking one out for a test ride a couple years ago, I have always fancied turning one into a street-fighter :!: but as Stormeruk said the wind blast is not something I wish to go back to after years of a retro style bike a Suzuki GS1000 i like the wind protection to much

compared with the storm a 1200 bandit is like a bus!!!the one i had was comfortable but it always sounded like a typewriter at low speeds, was worse on fuel than the vtr,and handled like a unicycle with a puncture!!

so.keep the storm..you know it makes sense!!

I've not had a go on a 1200 Bandit but one tagged along with us once and I was surprised how well it went.
