'ello
Sorry for toddling off for so long. Been working out bush with no connection, then did a jolly lot of kilometres (that's australian for miles) & came home to a dud computer. Finally got the net working & now gotta send the 'puta away for a rebuild. Such is life.
In the meantime, however, I've sold me Storm & per-chased me a new'n

I had to get a red one...
The decision was really out of my hands. They only have gloss black or red & since I'm rather prone to never ever washing my bike, gloss black just wasn't a good idea

.
I shall forever mourn the yellow (as I don't have the money for a respray).

Lovely of you to remember, Chris
Had a great trip with a great bunch of people.
Thumpa (from OzFS) rode down from the Sunshine Coast (about 156 miles) & stayed the night here before we both rode to Sydney the next day (about 625 miles). Stayed at a fellow OzFSer (Fathead), with another couple of Stormers (Saz & Yellafella) coming for a barbie (that's the Aussie cooking type, not the doll). From there, four Storms travelled down to Wollongong (probably another 150 miles or so... and don't knock the name, it's my birthplace). Heaps of brilliant roads around there, all of which we studied several times over, before a couple of days R&R at my Aunt's place in Sydney (huge place with a massive deck overlooking the pool & national forrest which is her backyard) and heading back home.
I tell you what... FireStorms attract an top type of person. Just about every Stormer I've met has been great. Hospitality everywhere. Rock up at someone's place we've never met & be treated like family. I'm chuffed to be a part of it.

How could I forget VTRgirl, with such an impressive trip as that

It sounds brilliant, glad too hear it all went so well, and you got home safely

Your Aunt's place in Sydney sounds wonderful
That last paragraph of yours nearly brought a tear to my eye

You're right, Squiff, it is about bloody time. I missed yaz all... sniff...
And Kaz, you're right too, about Wayne Gardner. Birthplace of champions

.
And Chris, yup. Brilliant week away. Looks like another coming up towards the end of January, although it'll be stinking hot then, I might just gather the Storms, warn my aunt & we'll all hang out by the pool for a week & work on the ol' tans. Should be three Storms heading down from Sunny Queensland & probably meet up with at least another half dozen down south. Drool... Can't wait!

Whoooooooo's a good boy? Eh? Whooooooo's a good boy?
[somewhat reluctantly, yet lovingly receiving huge slobbery lick to cheek, whilst madly scritching behind both ears]
Who missed his VTRgirl, eh boy?
[picks up stick & tosses it, quite accidentally, over a big tall fence...]

*runs off at full pelt in direction of stick throw*
WOOF!
*stands around for a minute all alert looking around with no actual clue where the stick might be but unable to comprehend that it is lost*
WOOF!
*gives up and rolls in some fresh poo with great relish*
WOOF!
*comes bounding back seeking hugs*
