You went for the 6x4 then! I had the 4" round and was abit embarassed as it looked more like a baked bean can. I lurrvveee the sound it makes though. Almost as good as the SP1!! For your birthday ask for the centre pipe, it's quite cheap (£100ish) and lets even more of the noise out. It takes out the centre cat releasing a couple more horse (and decibels). Wish i had my scooby again

Got a BMW estate instead

It's all old hat
I had one of those been cans on my tuned MK2 escort 20 years ago
Just wish I had the money for a sporty 4 wheel toy now days. I'll have to make do with the Storm.
Bloody kids cost me a fortune
What age can I legally make them leave home and stop costing me money
I love them really.

I had a MK1 as well! And a Mk1 Capri
My Mk2 was a signal orange 1600 sport. Stage 2 ported and polished head, full 2 1/4 inch bore exhaust system and tweeked suspension. Rs alloys and Mexico spoilers.
The engine work was done at Fords devlopment center at Dunton by a friend who worked there. It used to embarace a few of the richer boy racers in thier XR3is.
Those were the days

I'm ashamed to say mine was a 1300 xl, metalic brown and vinyl seats. Class. The wing fell off it one night in Perth but luckily I had a roll of masking tape in the boot, so I taped the wing back on and drove the 80 miles home. Loved it

Even more embarassing for me, mines was an 1100L. No carpets and absoulutely bugger all power.
The only mod I carried out was to fit the reclining seats from my smashed Alfasud Ti, this had a major impact on my teenage sex life though!!!!
Oh how we laughed back then!!!
