Just posting this on the offchance any of you are up for the holiday of a life-time in October next year (yes, next year, as in 2008).

http://www.postiebikechallenge.org

I figure aiming for 08 rather than this year gives anyone who's interested time to save up.

It's one of those things that'd give you memories for ever. It's absolute bedlam & I'm going, rain, hail or shine.

Hmmm... It does say it includes airfares from your nearest capital city... I wonder if it'd matter if that was London... 8)

So that's Timbo & Iggy in then. Anyone else?

It'd mean to be referring to State Capitals, although I reckon you could hit them up for London, or threaten to take them for false advertising 8O

I don't think you can get the flights from the U.K.
I noticed this in "The challenge section under details although it my be me miss readin it. " One way, air ticket from the destination to the closest capital city, to your home, in Australia."
Flights dont seem to badly priced though around £750. I only had a quick look though. With the current exchange rates your looking at around £2800 plus your kit. Doesn't seem to bad.
Also just a startin point for your flights check out http://www.travelmood.com

Great! That's four :D

The flights don't effect me since I only live a bit over an hour from Brisbane. I was kinda kidding about them paying from London...

It really will be a brilliant time, so it would be worth considering for any of you who would be able to come up with the money. Think how jealous you could make all your friends who are already green about you having a Storm! :D
