What a nice Traffic bike cop!

For the first time in over 16 years I was stopped by PC Plood today 
The reason:-
Under taking a lorry.
I was in lane 1 that lead to the A12 from the A406. Lane 2 continued along the A406, the lorry was in lane 2.
The problem was I was doing 70mph in a 50 limit and just in front of the lorry was the bike cop who was pulling into lane 1 for the A12. DOH!
I nearly undertook the copper as well.
When I pulled over and went to get off my bike he waved me over to him not wanting me to get off my bike.
When I got there he was laughing at my high viz belt with the word instructor on the back. He laughed even more when he found out I was a fireman.
He said "you should know better than undertaking a lorry especially with a copper in front of it, nice bike control, have a safe ride home"
He then chatted to me at every set of lights along the A12 untill he turned off for the traffic depot
Think I'll buy a lottery ticket tomorrow!
